Camel Waistcoast

Hello again my lovelies! Has everyone felt the change in the weather this week? Up north in Yorkshire we certainly have, it’s rained every day. Not so great for my dog who avoids puddles like the plague, but actually very agreeable with my wardrobe! For work this week I picked out one of my favourite sleeveless camel jackets to combat the rain and slightly warm weather… and paired it with pretty simplistic items anyone can pick up.

Trousers: Next  £22
White long sleeved top: Ebay OLD similar here
Black Court shoes: Dorothy Perkins  £19

I’m not even going to mention the bag… it’s my photography bag for work and I’d initially been walking around with my Osprey bag (see below) but stupidly switched bags at work and forgot to switch back.

The jacket was picked up in New Look in the sales last year and has become an all time favourite within my wardrobe. It’s comfortable, warm and chic.

Who else has an item in their cupboard that just seems to change their whole appearance? This sleeveless jacket for me is perfect to spice up any monochrome outfit and I feel gives the outfit a very classic, natural feel. Smart enough for work, or out for a coffee, or like me, your new work photo for the website… queue awkward picture:

Yep that’s me. Looking all cheesy grin ready to be published onto our company website. At least I look happy on a rainy day! The Camel is definitely perfect for this look. My eyes be poppin’!

I’ll be keeping my eyes peeled for the autumn’s must haves and Halloween outfits next, so if any of you know somewhere I should be eyeing up, let me know in the comments below.

If you like smart looks, then you may like this post too.

Thank you so much! Great bargain as well- think I picked it up in the new look sale last year for about £15!
