Rollin’ in the Wheat, a Tessies Dress

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again. I love a good local shop. Tessies have been featured on my blog before. After recently photographing Amy for her Tessies lookbook, I was thrilled when given the opportunity to work with them myself. Whilst they house a plus size collection, their clothing range often has lovely oversized items or even a cheeky L that fits up to a size 20. Add to the mix some of the most beautiful spring days we’ve had all year and you have the perfect opportunity for a photoshoot.

All photographs in this post are taken my Amy, who if you haven’t checked out then what are you doing? Amy kindly put up with getting our legs bitten, scratched and bruised for these images. Go check out her blog to see her photos.

This beautiful striped dress had me feeling all kinds of truly scrumptious. Not only is the fit wonderful and relaxed for a size 16, but the length is perfect. Being a taller lass myself, I love that it hits me just above the knee. The material is a light, 100& Viscose. Which means it allows you to keep cool and comfortable whilst wearing but is not so light it’s see through. HOLLA for all the girls who have accidentally flashed due to material issues.

This dress details some beautiful straps that can be tied anyway you like really. Here I’ve popped two bows on my back just to add a little delicacy to the look (I need all the help I can get). I assure this beautiful delicate look was met with me aggressively stomping over some course wheat to get these shots.

Do you have any local shops you love to support?

Who am I kidding? I was very naughty in these fields of wheat.
