For full Disclosure, this post is a collaboration and the spending money used to explore London Bridge was gifted by Hotels.com, but all views/suggestions are my own.
Wanting to visit London but perhaps eyeing up a different area? I’ve visited many times being a resident of the UK, and one of my favourite spots to stay in is London Bridge. If you’re looking for hotels in London Bridge, a quirky spot to grab some food or some of the best sightseeing this city has to offer, then look no further. This is a guide to this fantastic part of the big smoke.
Where to Eat:
Let’s be honest, it wouldn’t be me if this post didn’t start with food. London Bridge has so many amazing spots on offer to tickle your tastebuds and my day starts with pancakes. London Bridge actually has some incredible breakfast spots on offer such as Where the Pancakes are and The Breakfast Club. We decided to go to The Breakfast Club and weren’t disappointed with our choice. Whilst this place is bustling (we joined a 25 min wait list) it’s well worth the wait. The food is to die for an extremely good value for London. The scenery is a covered in retro/vintage decor and it’s literally a homage to one of the best ages in history.

Where to Stay:
If you’re a fan of chain hotels or quirky individual apartments, this area has got you boo. Personally I always choose accommodation on the sacred ‘location, location, location‘ rule. However, being in the London Bridge area you can’t go too wrong. There’s even a handy Hilton Hotel if you want to know exactly what you’re getting. A quick search on Hotels.com will have you in the right area!
What to Do:
Did you know that Tower Bridge is actually celebrating it’s 125th Birthday this year? It was officially opened back in the day by the Prince and Princess of Wales (later King Edward VII and Queen Alexandra) on the 30th June 1894. Throughout June there are heaps of events going on such as guided tours, exhibitions and a Victorian Circus. However, if you’re not one to partake in the festivities I highly recommend finding a good viewing spot to marvel in Sir Horace Jones’ work. It’s free afterall ;-).

If you’re looking to explore more, I highly recommend the Borough Market. You can pick up some amazing oil and flavourings for home cookings, fresh bread or like us… doughnuts. We visited Bread Ahead, where it was 4 doughnuts for £10 and they were worth every pound. Look at that oozy goodness.

Would you consider the London Bridge area for your next visit?
