Let’s go to the Beach Beach! Let’s take a faithful five mins to acknowledge I’ve had a bit on my plate recently. Whether I’ve been juggling personal issues, work life balance or dealing with the stress that is which pizza to order, sometimes you need to just let your hair down and have some fun. When On the Beach asked me if I’d like to attend their upcoming blogger event I may have take a huge sigh of relief as it was just what the Doctor ordered. An evening of drinks, foods, fun and talking about all things blogging- perfection. Here’s the low down on what happened at the On the Beach event:
I made a fool out of myself
Shocking I know, it does surprise me how on Earth at the ripe age of 26 and as a mother I still manage to act like a giggling child. Whether my head was in the middle of a pineapple lilo or I was swinging on a hammock, you better bet I joined in with every. single. gimmick. On the Beach had put out for us (we were there to have fun after all!)
I MAY have got stuck in the hammock, wedged my bum in the pineapple float, and hugged a unicorn lilo… but I was living my best life.

I came 1st in the quiz
Who knew that listening to Justin Bieber, George Ezra and WHAM would one day bring me a golden prize? My love for cheesy holiday music certainly did me justice when they called I’d won first place in their quiz (props for knowing that Turkey is surrounded by 8 countries).

I ate myself
Well, technically no. BUT I did eat a cupcake with myself on. On the Beach provided some beaut cupcakes that were not only delicious but super personal to all the bloggers who attended!

My love for Travel was re-sparked
Whether it was the incredible talks from the On the Beach team themselves, or the inspiring photography and social media talks I suddenly felt the urge to get typing all my ideas up. I even put the new SEO tips that we were shown to the test and I’ll report back later.

I realised my Destiny to be an Ice Cream Server…
…and utterly failed at it. I just couldn’t do it! So instead I ate the chocolate flake and got on with my day.

The event was a total blast and well worth the 2 and a bit hours of Ashton and I driving with High School Musical Karaoke on. We learnt plenty about this wonderful company and the incredible people that run it.
