What makes you unique?
So firstly, let’s have a little think about what makes us in particular unique? Do you have a birth mark? Dimples? Long lashes? Freckles? These are all defining features to your looks. I have freckles, hooded eyes and a couple of birth marks on my face that I think really help identify me and my look. Now, I’ll never suggest you hide these, because these are what makes you, you! So embrace them, be confident and proud of those defining features and the message will quickly translate into your image.
What do you love about yourself?
Find something you love about yourself and exaggerate it! Think your eyes are fierce? FANTASTIC. Then let’s make sure they’re the star of the selfie. A little tip to make your eyes POP is to look just a little bit above the lens, it really opens them up.
If you’re a huge fan of your hair, then why not showcase it off? Create a beautiful do to work for your image and you’ll soon be translating the message of your radiance!

- Am I using natural light or an artificial ring light in order to showcase all of my face and features?
- Have I got for a statement bold lip as I would usually in order to represent who I am and what I’m about?
- Do I feel confident and comfortable? If not, let’s try another day!
- Am I myself happy with the image before posting?
