*This Post is sponsored, but all words and opinions regarding virtual dates are my own
Have you given much thought into your virtual dating experiences? I’ve had my fair share of dull dates in the past, one’s that left me feeling no spark and underwhelmed at the hours passed. With the use of technology and more and more people moving to internet first dates it can be a little worrying that it’s going to be the same. Well, no one said that dating had to be a dull experience of staring at the blue screen and hoping there is instant chemistry. Now you can add some little punches to your online dating experience and guess what? I’m gonna share some fun ideas with you, just because I love ya.
Virtual Quiz
This has been ONE of the most popular ways to spend 2020-21. Virtual quizzes have held everyone together and now it’s time for you to bring it into dating. You could make this super fun by doing a ‘this or that’ quiz about your own personal likes and dislikes. It will be a fun way for both of you to get to know each other and it’ll pass the time.
Get Creative with your culinary skills
Whether you’ve met through Buckinghamshire Dating or you’re old childhood friends, food is always a good way to get to know each other. Could you explore this further and maybe create a cocktail that you both have an input in? I’m thinking you put your mixologist skills to the test, create a fancy dish and sit down for a dinner together. But keep the candles away from the laptop please.
Surf the Web together
Whilst we can spend a lot of our time on the internet searching for dating sites uk , there are also loads of fun ways to spend a couple of hours on the internet. You may recall ‘draw something’ from your teenage years? Well, maybe you could bring out your inner artist and have a giggle or two exploring the creative side of life.
Pjs and Chill
There is something so wonderful and sweet about inviting someone virtually into your bedroom. Now now, no hanky panky meant here. I’m talking about having a movie night together in bed… virtually of course. You can both watch the latest Netflix film or stick on your favourite rom com, get a glass of wine and you’re good to go!
Make it a Double
Double dates can be really fun. Now is the time to give it a go and take the plunge. Why not invite some friends to have a virtual experience with you and your date? It may just well make the whole experience a lot easier and having the extra people will avoid any awkward silences.
I hope this has provided some fun virtual date ideas for you. Now I’m going to ask you a cheeky question, and I need to know the answer so we can all help each other. After all, it’s a community. What has been your favourite date experience EVER and why?
