Yup you read it right, I visited my first every Eurocamp this May half term. I’ve heard great things about them from my friends with heavy adventure loving kids, but wasn’t sure it would be a good fit for us. However, I’ve just returned from five nights at Amadria Park Camping Trogir with Jet2holidays in Croatia, and if you’re considering booking, I wanted to share everything you need to know from our experience. This was my first ever Eurocamp, and honestly? I was pleasantly surprised at the resort.
Why this particular Eurocamp?
One of the reasons for us choosing this particular Eurocamp destination was just how close the resort is to the airport. After landing on our flights to Croatia, and grabbing our hire car, we were at the park in around 15 minutes, which is ideal when travelling with children. Nobody wants to spend hours transferring after a flight, and this was one of the easiest airport-to-resort journeys we’ve ever had. We actually had everything packaged together with Jet2 so not only is your Eurocamp trip sorted but flights, luggage, car hire and ATOL protection all included when you book a Eurocamp holiday through Jet2holidays. But let’s get to the resort…
A mixture of pine trees, beautiful flowers (all sign posted to do some learning whilst wandering), beautifully bricked paths and a gorgeous view of the crystal clear water in the distance. It really is a gorgeous site. It felt quite luxurious walking along the front and I’m sure others will agree it has a really clean, pleasant feel to it.
If there is one thing I’m good at doing it’s finding a location where our kids (aged 8 and 5) can have fun but we can also find time to relax. It has to be the perfect mix for us and if you’re searching for holiday parks that offer plenty to do without feeling overcrowded, this place really ticks the boxes.

The paddleboarding was one of our favourite activities and I spent hours each day just plodding along on this (and not so gracefully falling into the water too). There is a lovely little part of the resort where you can just paddle along the coast and check out the beauty of the place, or you can paddle to a small little island like I did and have a nosey. Just be sure to tell your family as I went for an hour and Joe was about to send out the search party haha!
Directions from Split Airport
Getting to Amadria Park Camping Trogir from Split Airport is straightforward so much so we stopped using our satnav in the end as it was just a few turns. After leaving the airport, follow signs towards Trogir and join the D8 coastal road. Continue west for a few minutes before following signs for Seget Vranjica. The campsite is located just outside Trogir along the coastline, and the journey typically takes around 15 minutes depending on traffic. You’ll see signs for it along route and arrows pointing you in the right direction.
If you’re using sat nav or Google Maps, simply enter “Amadria Park Camping Trogir” as your destination and you’ll be taken directly to the reception area. The route is easy to follow, mostly along well-maintained roads, and offers some lovely coastal views along the way.
For those hiring a car, there is parking available on site (pay for this at reception), making it easy to come and go during your stay. Alternatively, taxis are readily available from Split Airport and can get you to the campsite in around 15 minutes, making transfers quick and hassle-free.
You can pull your car up near your cabin to unload but must put it in the carpark after to allow the roads to remain clear for other vehicles.
Accommodation
One thing we really liked about Amadria Park Camping Trogir was how well laid out the site is. Rather than feeling crowded, the park is divided into dedicated areas for cabins and mobile homes, motorhomes and campervans, and what I’d argue to be glamping tents (those big fancy ones that look really sturdy). This gives each section its own atmosphere while still allowing guests to enjoy all of the shared facilities. Whether you’re booking a fully equipped cabin through Eurocamp holidays, touring Croatia in a motorhome, or staying in a tent by the coast, the site caters to a variety of holiday styles and feels organised, spacious and well maintained throughout.
We had a comfort 2 bedroom with AC lodge and honestly, everything had a place. It was compact, basic but exactly what you’d expect from this accommodation. It had a full sized fridge, all the pots and pans you could need and a nice inside dining space to sit if you wanted (we didn’t actually use this as sat on the outdoor terrace). Each bedroom had an ensuite toilet and shower off it meaning you had your privacy where needed.
Food, Coffee & Ice Cream
One thing we quickly discovered was a lovely little spot for morning coffees. Sitting with a coffee overlooking the sea became part of our daily routine whilst the children played in the free park. We’d sit and come up with a plan for the day (although it was mainly about which spot we’d choose on the coastal stone front).
The site has a couple of restaurants, but only the pizzeria was open on our visit in May. We had a couple takeaway pizzas from there and they were nice! There was a burger van open which looked super clean… to be honest, the whole resort was extremely clean. People were constantly walking around picking up litter which made it really nice.
There was a sweet shop/ice cream parlour and the ice creams deserve their own mention. At around €3 each, they were absolutely delicious and quickly became a daily treat for both the kids and adults. If you go, get the cookie flavour!
Shops & Supermarkets
One thing that makes self-catering so easy here is the convenience.
There’s a supermarket located directly on-site, which is perfect for picking up essentials, snacks and drinks if you don’t want to venture far. It is immaculate, and has enough variety if you couldn’t get elsewhere, however some of the prices were inflated in comparison to Lidl.
If you fancy a bigger selection, there’s another supermarket around a 15-minute walk away, and for a proper grocery shop called Tommy’s, there’s a Lidl approximately 12 minutes away by car which we used 3 times to get our shopping in and it was well stocked with a bakery and all of the essentials.
Boat Trips to Trogir
One of our favourite days was taking the boat into Trogir. There is a spot really conveniently located on the front of the site by the water. You just hop on and buy your tickets on board (you do need cash for this though as they don’t take card).
The boat is a fantastic way to explore one of Croatia’s most beautiful historic towns without worrying about parking or not being able to have a drink with your meal. Trogir is full of narrow cobbled streets, waterfront restaurants and beautiful architecture. I could have spent a full day walking around, but a half day was pretty perfect as it was 31 degrees and the kids were struggling with the heat.
At the time of our visit, boat tickets were approximately €7 per person each way or 12 return, depending on the service and season, making it a reasonably priced excursion for families.
Final Thoughts
If you’re looking at Eurocamp holidays, Amadria Park Camping Trogir is a fantastic choice. The accommodation offers the flexibility of self-catering while still giving you access to resort-style facilities and entertainment.
As a family, we’re always looking for holidays that are easy from start to finish, and this one certainly delivered.
