Whilst in Tesco this week grabbing a few bits and bobs for the fridge I thought I’d take a look at F&F Clothing and stumbled across this absolutely stunning Oriental Dress. It was also one of those moments I couldn’t help but feel it embodied the aura of one of my favourite bloggers, Em. So much so that I ended up sending her an over excited message that went something along the lines of “Em, I am in a dress and it feels like it should be on you”. So without further a do… the dress…
Isn’t it beautiful? All kinds of perfect with it’s ideal length (especially for us taller folk), high neck which is perfect for winter and absolutely beautiful print keeping it chic yet classy. Best thing of all? It’s £20. I’d recommend sizing down, this is a size 14 and fits me like an absolute glove. I’d usually grab a 16 but it was out of stock, and it seems it was just luck that meant this was the perfect fit.
I’ll make a little note about the earrings because I LOVE them. I’d borrowed a pair extremely similar to this for my sisters wedding and I’d been desperate to get my hands on a pair of these. They’re perfect for adding to your outfit for a little bit of an edge, especially on a dress like this that is so classic. They’re a beautiful coppery colour, so I reckon they will enter my autumn wardrobe on more than one Occassion.
I also need to make a special thank you to my friend Kat who took this photos for me in order to really capture the beauty of the dress. Thanks Kat! No Shrinking Violet
The back of the dress has a beautiful small opening at the top and fastens with two coppery/gold buttons. I wore this dress to a coffee morning we held at work and honestly, the compliments were endless. So if you’re looking for a dress that is chic, classic, comfortable and very affordable look no further!
I’ve got some more beautiful jewellery coming up from Yours Clothing so keep an eye out for those!
