Getting into Halloween with Want that Trend

When the nights get darker, the first exciting event for these cooler months is Halloween. Usually I consider only Halloween weekend for theming my outfit towards this holiday. I’m dressing as a ghostbuster in case you wanted to know (you’re welcome). However, now, thanks to a few brands, we can wear themed clothing for weeks ahead (if we wish to!)

I love Halloween. I love any occasion to decorate my house and with spiders, cobwebs, ghosts etc available it’s a party for me. Each year Joe and I like to host a little halloween party, get our nearest and dearest together for a jolly good time. It certainly helps that we live near a cemetery. Pretty perfect, don’t you think?

Dress*: Want that Trend  £19.95 up to size 22.
Scarf: Zara (old)
Boots: Hush Puppies, oldie but goodie.

Want that Trend  have introduced a selection of swing dresses for holidays such as Halloween and Christmas and I was fortunate enough to be sent one to try out. The print is super cute and made me giggle every time I looked down at those cheeky skeleton men. The fabric is comfortable and actually quite warm considering this was taken about 6pm at night and this English weather is being a little grim at the minute.

My only qualm with this dress is the length of it, being almost 5 ft 11 this won’t be an issue for everybody and it’s one that is easily resolved by wearing leggings instead of tights. I’d just love a little more length – but then again, why bother? Why not get the killer thighs out?
