Can you believe we’re in March already? I’m surprised at how fast this year is going by already! As many of you may know, I’ve been in the Lake District this week for a little birthday treat with Mr G. Fortunately for me (yipee) this meant I needed to hit the shops again to get some more weather appropriate gear. I didn’t really know where to begin and was pleasantly surprised to find a number of items suitable from Yours Clothing.
My basket was filled with layered clothing, leggings, jeggings, a rather beautiful gilet and even a bag. I checked out a few of the items as pictured below and I’m soooo pleased with them.
Firstly, these pictures were taken on my birthday whilst visiting a beautiful place called Grasmere in the Lake District. If you haven’t been, I’d highly recommend.. I’ve spent my afternoon scoffing gingerbread from there. As it was my birthday you may chuckle at the cheery disposition I have unsure how to cope with another year under my belt. I jest, I’m happy as Augustus Gloop when he sees the chocolate waterfall in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. I’ve got much to be grateful for!
Let’s crack on with the clothing. Firstly let me tell you about this gilet. I’ve wanted this for a while simply due to the length of it. I’m not really a fan of short gilet’s on me but long mmmm yes! I had to size up as my size was out of stock but I really couldn’t resist and it allowed for layering which was perfect for the cool temperatures by the lake. It has a beautiful fur trim around the hood just to add a little nod to this seasons trends.
These jeggings are a complete steal and at £21 I know it won’t be money lost due to the wear I’ll get out of them. They’re comfortable and flexible. For me, I like to have leggings that come up to my bra line-PREACH if you’re with me sisters. These do just that! The best part is they will go with just about anything so expect them in future posts.
Isn’t there something extremely beautiful about the greenery in the Lakes?
Side note: I feel you should know, this post was written with my feet up in front of the wood burner with a sheep blurrping at me outside the window.
