Putting the fun back into my wardrobe with Joanie Clothing

I’ve always kept my clothes pretty minimalistic. That is until, I started this blog 4 years ago. I used this outlook to get me to experiment and push me out of my comfort zones. Although, until recently I don’t feel I fully took to the challenge. A lot of my wardrobe are staple classics. The fitted jeans, plain t shirts, albeit the stripy one I’ve had for years. I love wearing more colourful items, colourful in fabric and in design. My mum always reminds me that when I was younger I used to wear a yellow bikini and red wellies, now THAT girl knew how to do FASHFun.

Enter Joanie Clothing. I love their items. They make me feel happy, fun and fresh, all with a retro twist. Although I’m a little gutted their sizing only goes up to a 22 they offer some wonderful pieces.

This dress is all kinds of fabulous. Fitting and beautiful it’s perfect for your picnic in the park, Christening (as I wore it) or just strolling around the streets. Can you imagine how fabulous this would look in Paris?

For more your day to day item you could spice up any outfit with a slogan tee or jumper. Add a cute bit of graphic print and you’re in for a win. This jumper has both adorable calligraphy and wonderful bright red lipstick detail.

Both of these pieces are a welcome addition to my wardrobe. I’ll be glad to reach for the Jumper on a lazy day at work or for a cute coffee date with my girls.

What do you think about your wardrobe? Do you have key items like these?
