It’s already coming to that favourite time of year for serial shoppers: Black Friday. We all create some sort of wish list, key items we can wear again and again, those one off pieces that make you go ‘oooh’ and those darn fine accessories to dazzle up even the plainest of outfits.
When PrettyLittleThing contacted me to write about my Black Friday Wishlist I was all in. I’d already been scouring their website and found items I wanted badly. They were staple pieces that I could wear again and again, mixing up with different prints and styles. With the new issues surrounding fast fashion, I’m trying to be more selective with pieces that I’ll rewear lots when brands come to me. So what did I pick?
Firstly, an eyelash jumper. That’s available in three colour ways, some dark jeans, black boots, a baker boy and some accessories. I figured each item individually can be teamed with other items in my wardrobe ensuring long wear and use. The Jumper was lovely and soft and excellent quality for it’s price. It’s snuggling for these upcoming winter months and I’ll be sure to put it to good use whether chilling on the sofa or heading out for a coffee.
So why were these items on my list? Well, the statement jumper, is soft and comfortable. It can be paired with skirts, jeans or leggings, making it a versatile item. I have lots of jumpers, and I wear the hell outta them. I loved the camel tones of this jumper and felt it would be the perfect Autumn vibes jumper. The jeans are a shade darker than my usual so it seemed daft to go for a colour way I already had in several styles. I was pleased I did. The shade darker is hellaaaaa useful for if (like me) you have a little 11 month old running around. Mud gets EVERYWHERE, so does food. They’re perfect for hiding little marks.
The Baker boy is an item loved or hated by many. I figured I should own one, I’m always pinching my gal Charls’. It’s about time I grabbed one myself.
Other items on my wish list also include almost everything from the new Ashley Graham range, but that’s besides the point eh?
Do you have any items on your Black Friday Wishlist? Any that you feel could be a really handy staple go to piece for your wardrobe?
