What exactly makes the perfect match? I’m sure there isn’t a scientific equation for this one but there are certainly things that make a match more appealing. When it comes to love, we all have different wants and needs and it means that (thankfully) we all have different types when it comes to dates. I thought I’d put my fingers to keyboard to write down a few of the things that make the perfect match when it comes to dating and here they are for you to read.
Personality traits
I’m one of those people that loves to pop onto google and assess personality traits and ideal matches. Does my strong willed personality suit someone who is super chilled for example? Who really knows. Don’t get me started on zodiac alignments because I love those too. Whilst you don’t need to be ‘perfectly’ suited to have a successful match, it does help if you have a few things you can talk about to get the ball roll. Opposites do attract after all, so don’t be put off if you love football and your date prefers opera.
Location, Location, Location
The reality is, it does make things a lot easier when your potential date is from the same area as you. It just makes meet ups easier, the reality of having to be reliable due to possibility of running into each other more and you tend to have more common interests. Whether you’re from Angus, Perth of Kinross, you can find all of your dating potentials from YOUR area on Tayside Dating. Now it’s not to say you can’t find a wonderful date from other areas, but as someone who found their match in their own area I’m just adding my thoughts. Who knows, you might share a favourite coffee shop?
Age is but a number
Does age really come into the equation if the connection is there? Whether you’re looking for more mature connections via Tayside Dating Site or you’re open to a variety of different possible love interests then you can sit and access how age comes into play. My personal opinion is that if it’s consensual & legal, and no one is getting hurt, then it’s wonderful. Age is but a number.
Prospects
I don’t think it really matters whether your potential date is the most career ambitious or not. For me it’s all about the small things like ‘can they make me laugh?’ ‘do I enjoy being around them’ ‘do they lift me up?’ These points are so much more to me than strong ‘prospects’.
So what I’m trying to say (in the most round about way) is that really, your perfect match is individual to you. There are certainly things you can look out for that will make it just a little easier to date and progress things, but they’re not set in stone.
So go on, tell me which you most relate too. What makes a perfect match for you?
