My blog started 4 years ago, primarily to document my fashion journey. Until recently, I always felt my fashion was kinda a bit of this, and a bit of that. Never suited to one trend of theme and always changing with my mood. I’ve covered skater style, chic swimwear and the ever growing leopard trend showcasing variety. Whilst this probably to some extent remains the case, I’ve realised much has also changed. It wasn’t until a few weeks ago that my pal Amy told me to get myself a Pinterest Board and ‘get with the programme’ that I realised there is a style I am totally drawn to.

Within days of being on board with this platform I was hooked. I found myself pinning images upon images of free flowing, bohemian style clothing. Earthy colours? I want it. Muted tones? Gimme ALL those brown hues. I have realised I am rather fond of the very simple, almost gypsy-esque clothing. Now don’t get me wrong, you know your girl will still be reaching for her party shoes come the summer party season. I’m a sucker for a good heel, whether it’s peep toe or stiletto. Quiz actually feature some super cute strappy lace up shoes I’m lusting over and I feel these would be the perfect edition to my very ‘free’ style I’m after. Whilst I’m a fan of most shoes, I’ve become especially fond of the ever classic gladiator sandal or even the stellar sliders.
Besides footwear, I’ve acquired free flowing layered dresses and my new favourite item is a loose-fitting jumpsuit (as seen in photos). I’m feeling these are the vibes for my upcoming summer holiday and hope you’ll agree they portray a much more relaxed look. They can be styled up or down and this is what’s best about all of these items. I’ve teamed them here with some sneaks, but swap them out for those gorgeous strappy sandals and a long sleeve top underneath I mentioned and you’ve ultimately upped your look. Add some killer accessories and bang bang, you’ve flipped your vibe. However for me, the outfit is perfect as so. I’m now on the hunt for more items like this.

If you’ve spotted any earthy coloured clothing items or can suggest the ultimate website for me to go hunting for my new bohemian look then I want to know!

How do you feel about your style? Is there a specific bracket you put yourself into or do you feel you move between styles?
