Sorry to my readers for my absence, I don’t really have too much of an excuse! I’ve been a little busy with Hen Party/Wedding Prep and I’ve just got distracted. That being said I have a Wedding/Holiday coming up, which means I’ll have lots of outfits to post and in some super scenic locations! Let’s talk Bridal Attire.
Anyway, I thought I’d use this post to give you a few hits about my wedding attire, as I am a bride to be!
Not the most traditional I’m aware… I am not wearing heels, and I don’t want my hair up on my head.. purely because I am getting married in a castle surrounded by cobbled streets and I think my head looks like a giant thumb when I have nothing around my face. 🙂
I struggled a lot with my wedding dress, I didn’t want anything too tight that made me feel like I was wrapped up- I also really like cake so these wouldn’t work well together. I tried on a number of dresses, from mermaids (not for me) to tulle skirts… I struggled. I ended having mine custom made online, but since then so many nice dresses have come out online- so here are my top picks: No Shrinking Violet

I absolutely adore dresses with lower backs- I’m not sure what it is about them- something very beautiful about it! This dress has just been moved to the sale and it’s also covered in lace for the more traditional brides.
Scarlett & Jo Bridal Lace Prom Dress £200
I couldn’t very well cover bridal dresses (especially those for us curvier ladies) without featuring a Scarlett & Jo gown could I? I love this flirtatious, cute little tea length dress that will suit almost any shape and size. I’m aware it says ‘prom’ dress- but who cares! Bravo ladies!
